What is compassion?
It is the feeling by which one understand the feelings and epxeriences of others.
Why compassion?
✔Promotes harmony and inner peace.
✔Strengthens relationships.
✔Shows us that we all (as animals) share basic similar challenges.
✔Reduces isolation.
✔Creates a friendlier world.
How?
* Practice Self-Compassion:
Be kind to yourself, especially in difficult moments.
* Gratitude Journal:
Write down three things you are grateful for daily, and note one person who has helped you.
*Active Listening:
Pay attention to the words, tone, and body language of your conversation partner. Ask questions and show genuine interest.
* Compassion Meditation:
Think of someone in need and send them positive thoughts such as peace and strength.
* Volunteering: Get involved in an organization or your community to actively help.
* Empathetic Reflection: Put yourself in the other person's shoes to better understand their feelings and motivations.
